High school manwha review

He is Joe Pae the invincible and he will build an empire.

Joe Pae is a guy with a simple life philosophy:"I'm invincible. If I beat you, you will serve under me in my empire". Simple,right?

When he was a kid Joe Pae saw a movie about a great man who started a revolution to end the despair of the poor people. In the empire he wants to build Joe Pae the ideals of a beautiful life with all his strenght. Until then, he needs to go to high-school. 

If you listen to their stories you will find a different one, but it's certain that Joe Pae, Ho Ra and Han Ryu have met in the same day and the interaction between them was certainly odd.

But they are in the same class and they were at each other throat in the next second. And that's how they were on the roof where a certain Min Soo, the boss of the school was high on drugs. It didn't take more than a second for Joe Pae to kick him in the back, which resulted in the falling of Min Soo from the roof of the school. He survived, but this incident caused an uproar in the school, and most importantly in the school gang who was after Joe Pae head.

Eventually Joe Pae would join forces with Ho Ra and Han Ryu and defeated the gang school. Only to find more trouble. Woo Yeol, one of the leaders of the gang has gone and called for organized crime( something like yakuza or maria, but korean). In the meantime, schools around the city started to attack Joe Pae school, hearing that Min Soo was taken down. 

This events allowed Joe Pae to meet more bastards like him, amazing bastards, just bastards, but all were charmed by Joe Pae straighten and his charisma. Of course, for Joe Pae,this was something natural: "I defeated you. You will follow me". 

What I found amazing about this character was his will and "never give up" atitude. His will to make his dream come true. To build an empire. 

It didn't matter it was a gang, a crooked cop who shot at him, all high-school bosses from the town, a top gang boss, he approached them with the same attitude: "I don't give a fuck who you are, I will defeat you, even if I die. I will build an empire, motherfucker". 

It's a manga that I enjoyed reading, and I'm happy that was completely scanlated in the end. The last chapter was released this week. So I recommend to read it and enjoy the story of Joe Pae.
